Athlete Q&A

I figured it was something that would keep me motivated after moving on from downhill skiing and going to university.

Staying power- all the best in their field have it!

Wake up much much earlier than I would ever on my own at home. Have some coffee, have some food, do some mobility to distract my nerves, and head to the venue with lots of time so I don’t feel rushed (also something I never do on my own at home).

My wetsuit – the water is cold up here!

Any of the BC races 🙂

Pace yourself! Make your training fun and challenging, find a solid crew, and don’t try to do it all at once!

Some podium finishes in North America during the season and then set myself to race at my best for Worlds.

Skiing and other outdoor activities when I’m not swim-bike-run-working.

Developing my career as a physiotherapist and sports medicine specialist, owning a clinic, and building an environment that attracts other professionals to our area – oh wait, that is what I’m doing right now 😊 So I’d be doing that, with more time and intensity.
